Chilled Beam Manifold

Chilled Beam ManifoldThis is a manifold solution designed to be most suitable for chilled or heated beams, radiant panels or trench heating, by offering a complete water side control solution for these systems. Chilled beam manifolds are available in diameters of up to 1¼”, with anything up to 10 connections.

The chilled beam manifold can be offered with incorporated on/off control to each beam eliminating the need to buy additional two port control valves. Additionally a full bore zone control valve may be specified to control a number of beams. 2 port control is achieved using thermo electric actuators with the alternative of thermostatic radiator heads with extended sensors for use with radiant panels.

The chilled beam manifold is typically specified with automatic balancing valves to further reduce commissioning time, and is also available with or without zonal flow measurement.

Chilled beam manifolds are generally supplied un-insulated due to the higher cooling temperatures used for these applications. This makes them particularly suited for mounting on corridor modules.

"The complete solution for chilled or heated beams."

All required drains and air vents.

Full bore flushing bypass prevents contamination of manifolds during mains flushing, whilst allowing recommended flushing velocities.

Incorporated isolation valves. Easily demountable connections direct to Pexal multi layered pipe.

Terminator commissioning valve used for group flow measurement. May be exchanged for a zone control valve.

Automatic balancing valves automatically control the water flow rate, irrespective of fluctuations in local differential pressure.

Incorporated 2 port valves for on/off control. Uses thermoelectric actuators or thermostatic head. May be used for isolation with a manual handle during system setup.
