Bi-Lateral Manifold
This is a boxed manifold, designed to feed fan coils on either side, making it especially suitable for placement in corridors, or centrally within a floor.
The manifold has a very short flushing loop at full bore mains diameter, allowing the manifold to be flushed at the recommended velocity, as per CIBSE code W, without contaminating the manifolds or secondary pipework. The Bi-Lateral manifold is available in diameters of 1” and 1¼” and comes as standard with 6 connections, although not all of these may be used at any one time.
The bi-lateral manifold may be fitted with a range of control solutions including manual balancing with local differential pressure control or pressure independent combination valves.
Typically supplied in a Marflow insulation box, it is usual for all connections to be made outside the box.
