All Marflow ball valves are high quality triple sealed stem designs developed to maintain a tight shut off for various applications.
The main features common to all are:
The Filterball and Filterball Backflush is a corrosion resistant isolating ball valve containing an easily interchangeable strainer. This single valve in a compact space provides both isolation and easily maintainable protection of downstream plant and equipment.
Within the Filterball Backflush there is a unique patented key operated pilot valve facility that diverts upstream fluid back through the strainer to backflush.
Filterball and Filterball Backflush is supplied with a 0.7mm (700 micron) hole size strainer as standard. Alternatively hole sizes are available from very fine (180 micron) to coarse (1000 micron) as factory fitted options and as interchangeable spares.
Strainer basket capacity is generous and it should be noted that 1/2” and 3/4” have the same size basket and isolating ball.
Selection is typically line size from 1/2” to 2” and standard end connections are BSP.
Suitable for heating, cooling, potable water and hot water services, compressed air, gas and oil. The Filterball and Filterball Backflush must always be in the fully open position to allow the strainer to operate correctly or fully closed during the strainer removal procedure. The Filterball Backflush can be installed in orientations where the drain valve is horizontal or downwards bearing in mind the requirements.
